Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
o Diagnose, resolve and follow through on computer malfunction, and meet the needs of
the end user with no technical guidance o Trouble shoot and repair/maintain basic to moderate server issues, both hardware and software for servers physical and virtual o Service desk activities to include answering client calls or reviewing, resolving and closing tickets in the Service Desk queue o Trouble shooting systems and equipment problems or malfunctions
Desktop / Servers / Backup systems / Network equipment
o Identify causes and recommend solutions o Consult with End User and Managers to determine system requirements o Must act as a subject expert for staff and end users during trouble shooting, be their go to “IT Guy”

Technical Desktop Skills
o You can reset passwords
o Join computers to the domain o Install any software including the windows OS o You have the ability to make any and all scanners/printers/copiers work o Can handle virus and spyware remediation o Outlook and Email issues o Mobile phone issues such as setting up email o Windows 7 / 8 install, maintenance, and management o Windows XP decommission migration to Windows 7 / 8 o Microsoft Office products build, maintenance, and management
Technical Networking Skills Basic to Intermediate
o Management and configuration of DNS o Configuration and management of firewalls and wireless access points such as Fortinet
Security Endpoint and Wi-Fi line of products o Setting up a VPN connection from a workstation to an office using a VPN client o Install and configuration of network switches o Diagnose and resolve network/ internet connectivity issues o Manage ISP installs for clients
Technical Server Skills
o Install VM Ware locally on an onsite server with help o Windows (2003 / 2008 / 2012) server design, build, maintenance o MS Exchange server design, build, maintenance o MS Active Directory setup / maintenance
Technology- Data Backups
o Skilled in performing Data Backups and able to use any backup software o Configuration and management of vRanger a plus o Configuration and management of AppAssure a plus o Configuration and management of some backup software required
General Skills
o Excellent customer service, telephone and interpersonal skills o Ability to move equipment, install PCs, monitors, printers, and peripherals in a business
environment o Willingness to unbox, stage and inventory equipment o Must demonstrate a strong customer service focus while meeting or exceeding customer expectations, service level commitments, and changing priorities. o Flexible/Adaptable – most customer support will be during normal office hours, but there will be some after-hours support in the evening, weekends and/or Holidays
Technical certifications strongly preferred (A+, MCTS, CCENT, or CCNA)
