Network Engineer

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Network Engineer to join their team near the Lafayette, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for monitoring performance and suggesting improvements to increase capacity and resilience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise network across multiple locations
- Sustain knowledge of existing vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures
- Detect and report security risks with suggestions for corrective action
- Report performance by monitoring, evaluating, analyzing, and reporting
- Collaborate with vendors to implement best practices
- Provide point of escalation guidance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Network Engineering experience
- Experience with Cisco environment with routing and switching
- Experience with management of Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience designing and setting up SD-WAN platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Cloud networking exposure
- Wireless network management
- Relevant Certifications
TERMS:
