The IT Systems Administrator I is responsible for overseeing and supporting the technical environment of the Credit Union. This includes the network, hardware (servers, desktops, phones, laptops, etc.) as well as software applications. Ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of areas is this role’s responsibility. This position is also responsible for meeting security compliance in conformance with the established Credit Union policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs functions within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to members served by the Credit Union.
1. Implements hardware, software solutions, updates and patches to systems as directed.
2. Provides technical support for hardware, software and network systems.
3. Prepares and maintains documentation of network architecture, software installation, and other IT related procedures.
4. Administers and troubleshoots a variety of cloud based applications, operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, network peripherals, and Office 365.
5. Performs system maintenance on servers, SAN, and network devices to ensure the latest supported versions and security updates.
6. Assists with implementation of technology projects related to systems and applications running on the network.
7. Communicates and collaborates with team members, functional experts, management, and users on implementing solutions and projects.
8. Operates as part of the disaster and business recovery team.
9. Adheres to all Credit Union policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with the following regulations: BSA, OFAC, and other regulations as required.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Keeps informed of developments within the information technology industry. Attends meetings and seminars as needed.
2. Represents the Credit Union through participation in various technology and financial services industry professional networking organizations.

The salary range for this role is between $59,149 - $73,934. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors as permitted by law. This position may be eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week after 3 months of hire in accordance with the Work From Home guidelines.
Associate degree, technical certifications, or its equivalent in experience, and at least two years’ experience working as a systems administrator in a banking/credit union environment. Hands on experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows workstations, Windows Servers, virtual server environments, SAN, firewalls, routers, switches, web proxies, Office 365, DNS, SSL certificates, hosted applications, and cloud based VOIP systems is required. Must have prior experience supporting LAN/WAN networks. Ability to resolve, troubleshoot, and participate in technical related projects and after-hours support, including weekends as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the branch network as needed.
