What Our Client Needs:
Our client is seeking a Cloud Administrator responsible for managing Azure-based cloud environments and infrastructure services, ensuring security, performance, and availability. This role provides critical technical support across multiple functions, collaborating closely with IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders to support cloud-based applications and services.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage Azure-based projects across all functional cloud environments for optimal performance.
- Administer cloud network infrastructure services, including Azure Firewalls, IDS, DDOS, and WAF solutions.
- Execute sensitive data backup, restoration, and discovery procedures.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Provide after-hours technical support on an as-needed basis.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and workflows.
- Establish and administer user accounts, groups, and licenses within Azure Active Directory.
- Manage Microsoft Application Management, Defender, and Intune, supporting deployment, configuration, monitoring, and alerting.
- Monitor health, usage, and service incidents related to Azure Defender and Office 365 services.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect cloud environments.
- Support security policies, alerts, reports, and audits to maintain compliance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as an escalation point for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Manage endpoints for users, providing support for both Windows and Apple machines.
What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Azure systems administration or a similar role, with hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud infrastructure (IaaS).
- Strong knowledge of networking and security principles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical problems and identifying solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and end-users.
- Proactive approach with a commitment to industry best practices, particularly with the Cloud Security Alliance.
This position is hybrid and requires work in the Exton, PA office 2-3 days a week, with flexibility on specific days.
