Description:
We are seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join the team in the operational environment for the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) NOC. This role involves transforming the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment into a more mature service offering to meet the needs of the Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence communities. Responsibilities include managing commercial cloud migration, automating the continuous development and integration environment, and improving customer experience and service offerings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct operational reviews at the start of each shift to ensure services are running smoothly.
- Resolve system anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and document new processes.
- Collaborate with IT disciplines to maintain the multi-user environment, implement security measures, and follow industry best practices.
- Address customer issues, provide regular updates, and document resolutions.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
- Review user requests for network upgrades and provide technical advice.
- Provide 24x7 call-in support for system outages.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree and 4+ years of experience (additional experience may substitute for degree).
- IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for CI Poly.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting IT business systems.
- Experience in at least 5 of the following areas:
- Configuring Cisco switches and routers
- Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- TCPDUMP / Wireshark
- Troubleshooting S2S / DMVPN / IPSEC tunnels
- LAN and WAN network troubleshooting
- Basic firewall troubleshooting and configuration
- Basic ISE / TACACs troubleshooting and configuration
- AWS Cloud services
- VLAN configurations and trunking
- Spanning Tree Protocol
- 802.1x
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DISA and support to mission partners.
- TS/SCI with CI Poly preferred.
