Jazz Solutions is looking for a Cloud Architecture Analyst to provide technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support the delivery of functional and technical capabilities leveraging a cloud-based architecture.
Responsibilities include:
� Contribute to the continuous review and improvement process for existing infrastructure components.
� Participate in technical solution and design discussions, complete proof of concepts, and develop non-functional requirements.
� Contribute to creation and quality of deliverables.
� Build processes to ensure successful operations and management applications within the cloud.
� Monitor upstream applications for DDL updates
� Perform Confluent topics configuration updates when DDL changes occur in upstream applications.
� Coordinate development, testing and implementation of Confluent topics configuration updates and the upstream application DDL changes
� Provide operations and maintenance of the Confluent connectors between the upstream applications and target system, including coordinating incident response and sending notifications
� Support operational password rotation management every 90 days and ensure that the necessary tickets are open for support
� Monitor the data mart storage solution utilizing S3 buckets, including coordinating incident response and sending notifications
Required Skills:
� Bachelor's degree
� Minimum of 1 year experience with the following:
o Utilizing Confluent application connectors and topics to stream data, specifically connectors between Postgres and Redshift
o Working with AWS S3 buckets
o DevOps
o Components in batch and/or transactional architectures
o Design, build, and implementation of automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Custom tooling is also acceptable here if no packaged solution has been used in prior work experience
o Network and infrastructure design and build
o Scripting languages including Python, Perl, Unix/Linux Shell (bzsh, csh, other), or PowerShell.
o Design, build, and implementation of technical system improvements
o Operating, monitoring and reporting on batch and/or transactional systems and the underlying infrastructure
