DescriptionPartners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
Engages with strategic customers, builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions. Works directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through highly customized presentation demonstrations to customers, and at conferences, and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Identifies gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer driven features. Leading contributor, may provide direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May interact with C level. Maintains expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
Minimum qualifications include: 8 years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 50% international and domestic.
Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 8 years technical experience. Advanced degree in relevant field of studies highly desirable. Expertise in and an in depth and thorough knowledge of competitive and industry knowledge in the field of computer applications and tools; System and application design; Implementation of advanced product features; Project management; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Needs analysis, positioning, and business justification. 8 years experience and expertise in the clear communication of technical information to others through presentations, demonstrations, written communication and consultative solutioning experience.

Job Description
We seek a Principal Analytics Cloud Architect with a strong track record of designing, developing, migrating, and managing analytics, data warehousing, and data integration solutions to join our North America team. Experience with Oracle's and/or competitive products in the industry is required, along with passion, curiosity, and technical depth.
This role requires the cloud architect to be deeply technical and work closely with our sales teams and customers to help them adopt Oracle's Analytics Cloud Solutions. The Architect will engage with customers to discover business problems and goals and develop solutions using Oracle Cloud services. Work collaboratively with the customer to document the current state architecture, design the future state, and develop a path for digital cloud transformation. Candidates must have a solid understanding and proven experience in analytics, data warehouses, and data integration.
Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor to the customers. Develop and present business cases, industry trends, and competitive differentiators aligned with the go-to-market product and solution strategy.
- As a specialist, provide technical proof points or drive proof of value to the customer with Oracle Cloud Solutions.
- Maintain mastery of the Oracle Analytics, Datawarehousing, and Data Integration portfolio and intimate knowledge of industry trends, design patterns, development/deployment methodologies, and competitive cloud offerings while evangelizing solutions.
- Inspire confidence and quickly establish connection, credibility, trust, and influence with the customer, from executives to developers
- Influence customer Analytics platform strategy, architecture, roadmap, and migration planning
- Maintain relevant advanced-level competency across the analytics ecosystem – Oracle Analytics Cloud (Business Analytics), Oracle Autonomous Database (Machine Learning), and OCI Data Integration (ETL)
Desired Qualifications / Skills:
Analytics Architect with 7+ years of hands-on experience working on Business Analytics, Datawarehousing, ETL, and Machine Learning.
Required Skill Set:
- Must have demonstrated experience in designing and implementing analytics covering the complete life cycle
- Be able to understand data flow from various sources and be able to integrate data from multiple sources like ERP and Legacy systems running on both on-premise and Cloud
- Deep knowledge in designing high volume solutions, implementing performance and performance tuning
- Excel in synthesizing complex elements into a crisp yet robust story
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-driven, analytical, and results-oriented with proven sound judgment
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Cloud Certifications in either Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCP
Preferred Skill Set:
- Candidates preferably should have worked with recent versions of Oracle Analytics products – OAC, ADW, ODI Marketplace, OCI Data Integration
- Migrating solutions from on-premise to Cloud, for example, from OBIEE to OAC
- Understanding of Oracle's Applications like ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, EBS, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, or Seibel
- A bachelor's degree is desired, and a master's degree is preferred with relevant experience
