We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in Bedford, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure security, overall, Azure infrastructure, and Azure best practices.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our Azure environment. Must be a Christian committed to the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities
- Azure Security Management:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure security solutions to protect our cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in line with industry best practices.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Infrastructure Design and Management:
- Architect, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions to support business applications and services.
- Optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance frameworks, including resource tagging, management groups, and policies.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place and tested.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Stay current with Azure updates, features, and best practices to ensure our environment remains secure and optimized.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Azure best practices and security protocols.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Azure security and infrastructure best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide expert-level support for Azure-related issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to enhance our Azure environment.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure security and infrastructure management.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
- Must be able to work extended hours as necessary and during events.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Azure security tools and services (e.g., Azure Security Center, Intune, Purview, Azure Sentinel, Azure AD).
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure components (e.g., VMs, Virtual Networks, Storage, Azure Resource Manager).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI.
- Experience with identity and access management, encryption, network security, and data protection in Azure.
- General understanding and experience with other Azure related Apps and Services offered on the platform such as Azure App Service.
