Are you a skilled Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in AWS cloud-based applications and services? DeNOVO Solutions is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain critical applications within a secure cloud environment. In this role, you’ll leverage Python, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and best practices in security to implement and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery. A Day in the Life:
- Design & Develop: Build and maintain AWS cloud-based applications and services, writing, testing, and debugging code that supports scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
- Optimize Infrastructure: Implement and manage AWS infrastructure in secure, in-region environments, maximizing availability and fault tolerance.
- Documentation & Monitoring: Create and maintain documentation, monitor resource usage and costs, and troubleshoot any issues in real-time.
- Implement Security Measures: Ensure all cloud systems are secure, following best practices and compliance standards.
- Utilize IaC Tools: Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), for efficient cloud deployment.
- Work with Databases: Use SQL and NoSQL database technologies to support and optimize application performance.
Basic Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and AWS CDK for infrastructure development.
- Experience with Windows environments and Managed Active Directory (AD).
- Single Sign-On (SSO) knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Security+ Certification to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Networking Skills to optimize cloud and application performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Purple Customer Environment practices, bringing additional insight into secure, government cloud operations.
- AWS Workspaces Knowledge to support secure virtual desktop solutions.
- RSV Environment Experience for additional flexibility in government-specific cloud settings.
Salary Range:
