Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and innovative Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, with specific expertise in Microsoft Entra, Intune and Azure.
Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking resources
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of cloud systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain cloud security best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Manage and optimize costs associated with cloud services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience with optimization of cloud environments
- Relevant Certifications are a plus
Skills:
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies
- Experience with Mac environments and Apple ecosystem
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune for device management and security
