Position Overview:
Under General Direction, the Cloud Architect translates business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions. The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure and services that align with the organization's digital transformation goals. This role involves creating frameworks that support cloud adoption, migration, and optimization strategies.
Job Duties:
Cloud Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business objectives.
Evaluate and recommend cloud vendors services and solutions based on organizational needs.
Define cloud architecture principles and best practices.
Design & Implementation:
Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
Implement cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and databases.
Design transition plans for converting existing on premises footprint to appropriate cloud based/hybrid topologies and solutions.
Governance & Compliance:
Establish cloud governance policies and frameworks.
Ensure regulatory compliance with industry standard(s).
Monitor and manage cloud resources to optimize performance and cost.

Requirements
Education:
Experience:
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities (KSAs):
Cloud based (Azure, AWS, GCP) administration skillset across development and/or infrastructure and/or IAM, and/or networking subject matters.
Strong diagramming skills.
Communicate clearly, simply, and effectively with staff at all levels.
Strong knowledge of personal computers and various software, specifically Microsoft Office/0365/M365 suite.
Strategic thinker with a strong business relationship acumen
Results-driven and detail-oriented
Collaborative team player with strong leadership abilities
Adaptable to change and comfortable working in ambiguous scenarios.

General Information
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 40Hrs
Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 2 Days In-Office (Non- Negotiable)
May be required to work more than forty hours during the workweek and/or weekends or on-call 24 hours a day to meet special projects or deadlines
Subject to performing other duties as assigned

Salary:
Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.
