DescriptionAbout the role:Oracle’s National Security Group is seeking consultants that have a passion for Oracle application development that can support an enterprise HCM transformation effort within the US Intelligence community. This role is an integral part of an elite team with diverse skill sets that designs and delivers unique solutions that integrate a wide variety of Oracle commercial hardware, software, and cloud into secure, mission-critical solutions for our government customers. The ideal candidate:
Will have Core HR expertise as well as experience in one or more of the following: Absence Management, Time and Labor, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Learning or Recruiting.
Specifically, they will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:
- Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design
- Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state
- Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit
- Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration
- Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming the successful deployment
- Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues
- Providing implementation and technical support services

Required Qualifications:
- United States citizenship
- Top Secret/SCI with Poly (or an ability to obtain one)
- BS computer science or related field (or 8 years of equivalent work experience)
- 5 years or more experience in software and IT with at least 3 years in HCM Cloud Applications and technology
- In depth experience with HCM Applications
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients

Responsible for championing successful delivery of cloud solutions portfolio through effective project leadership and thought leadership to help Oracle's global clients navigate their journey to the cloud. Manage the development and implementation of the cloud solution and partner with clients to establish an operating model for success in the maintenance of the cloud solution as well as embedding a model for continued innovation in the Cloud.
Leads mid-size projects with limited oversight. Responsible for gathering the data to develop a business plan in assessing the client's readiness to adopt their cloud solution. Defines approaches and priorities of Oracle Cloud solution delivery. May provide input into client proposal preparation and value messaging. Conducts complex needs assessment and requirements gathering directly with clients on business impacts - people, process, technology arising as a result of Oracle Cloud solution implementation. Support the development of cross business relationships. Support the development of Oracle Cloud governance across IT and business teams. Develop assets and collateral for purposes of coaching, training, facilitating workshops for business stakeholders on own Cloud Adoption capabilities and evangelism marketing. Identifies and manages process improvements and program enhancements throughout the lifecycle of the project delivery. Assesses the cloud adoption and value realization and provide recommendation to further deliver value for the Oracle cloud solutions.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Proactive with attitude to change. Ability to learn quickly and support the Cloud Adoption team in strategic consulting projects. Proven attitude to work in a virtual team environment. Experience using or implementing Oracle SaaS applications. Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport with team members and clients. 5 plus years relevant work experience in business and IT. BA/BS degree in relevant specialty (IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business) preferred.
