We are hiring a DevOps Engineer for the Intelligence Community's CIO A&P program in Annapolis Junction. This program runs through 2028! We are hiring ASAP for this role.
Required Experience & Abilities
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly (anyone without a CI Poly is fine but CI poly is strongly recommended)
- Experience supporting or working for the DIA directly. Any experience working on a program that supported the DIA is fine.
- PaaS experience
- Experience configuring and managing LINUX operating systems
- Experience or familiarity with:
- Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible, and Puppet
- CI/CD pipeline concepts
- big data concepts, cloud technologies such as AWS and Oracle
Plus Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Experience using with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with DevOps pipeline and optimizing code.
- Knowledge of Ruby and/or Python
- Knowledge of Docker or other container tools.
Education & Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience minimum
Bachelor’s Degree minimum (or extra years of experience)
Day To Day
As a DevOps Systems on the program, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities crucial to the smooth functioning of the program's IT systems. You will be tasked with performing systems administration on server systems connected to local and wide area networks, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely. This includes providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as assisting in the managing of the infrastructure and processes related to these systems.
- For reference - the pay scale has such a large range due to different skill levels/years of experience being tied to government labor categories.
