Utilize commercial and open-source tools to extract data from various endpoint devices.
Determine the best method to extract data, file system structure, and the system memory in a forensically sound manner.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding design, processes and/or approaches to endpoint device analysis to efficiently meet mission requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 9-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in plus 7-years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree plus 5-years of relevant experience.
Degree must be in either professional Engineering, Physics or Astronomy, or relevant professional technical field (e.g. chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, geology).
For all the above degrees, if the program is not ABET Engineering Accreditation Certified (EAC), it must include specified coursework (Differential and integral calculus and 5 of the following 19 areas: (1) statics or dynamics, (2) strength of materials/stress-strain relationships, (3) fluid mechanics, (4) hydraulics, (5) thermodynamics, (6) electromagnetic fields, (7) nature and properties of materials/relating particle and aggregate structure to properties, (8) solid state electronics, (9) microprocessor applications, (10) computer systems, (11) signal processing, (12) digital design, (13) systems and control theory, (14) circuits or generalized circuits, (15) communication systems, (16) power systems, (17) computer networks, (18) software development, (19) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, or soil mechanics.
Relevant experience in designing and verifying integrated and digital circuit devices, designing, and integrating electrical and communication systems, and reverse engineering.
Experience with Windows, Mac/Linux, and Mobile Device knowledge base.
Experience with endpoint device forensic tools, electronic collection utilities, forensic software and processes including, but not limited to CelleBrite UFED, Graykey, Oxygen, Axiom, Atola Insight & Task Force, Tableau, chip reading tools and protocol analyzers.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
