Position Summary
We are currently seeking Junior Network Engineer to support our client at Charlotte, NC. The position has the overall responsibility for implementing the services in order to meet the customer’s requirements, both technically and logistically.

Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the configuring of computer hardware and networks.
- Install and configure routers, switches and wireless equipment
- Access ticketing system to review and respond to network issues
- Monitor network management system to verify availability of network devices
- Provide remote configuration of routers and switches when necessary
- Make firewall rule changes when necessary
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular and daily basis.
- Ability to work under the stress of maintaining proper liaison between department heads, Managers, Temporary Employees and customers.
- Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information.
- Ability to understand and follow safety/security practices.
- Ability to travel to multiple client sites during the workday.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge
- You possess a CCNA.
- You have a Bachelor’s Tech degree from a 4 year accredited University or College such as: BS in Technology, BS in Electronics and Communication, BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Computer Science OR you hold an Associate’s degree in a technical field related to network engineering
- Familiarity with Port security and ACL switch management protocols
- Must possess hands on work experience with Cisco Wireless standards and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Network management standards like CISCO prime and Solarwinds.
- You have 1 year to 2 years in a Junior Network Engineer role
- You have 1 to 2 years in fiber and Cat. 6 layer 1 hardware onsite physical troubleshooting
- Experience with Fluke tools.
- Possess physical troubleshooting in route/switch network environment.
- Your personality is dynamic and you possess the ability to establish and maintain a rapport with customers at both the business and technical level
- You demonstrate excellent communication in English, both written and Verbal.
