This position is night shift (6pm-6am) on a rotating weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with some relevant working experience and specialized training that is commensurate with the assignment.
- Experience as a Network Analyst / Network Engineer or equivalent knowledge.
- Previous NOC experience would be a plus.
- Solid Understanding of TCP/IP and underlying protocols.
- Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
- Candidate will work a shift in our 24x7 Global Device Operations Center (GDOC).
- Candidate's primary responsibility is responding to alerts generated and may participate in upgrades and other activities.
- Candidate may be asked to work directly with and interface with customers.
- Working in a NOC, you will be responsible for maintaining networks for our Managed Services' customers
- Handle network tuning and change requests and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience,
- Experience working in a 24x7 environment,
- Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (switches, routers, firewalls, etc).
- Experience working with firewalls, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet is a plus. Excellent written, verbal communication skills, etc.
