***This Is a Hybrid Position***
Candidates Are Required to work on-site a Minimum of 3 days per Week
Job Duties and Responsibilities
This resource will primarily be tasked with performing Database (SQL Server, Oracle, GIS) planning and operational activities including, but not limited to the following:
- Daily operational and database administration activities
- Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
- Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
- Perform SQL Code reviews
- Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate Must have skill and 15 years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:
- DB2 for z/OS
- SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
- Oracle 10g and above
- Experience with the FDOT integrated database infrastructure a plus.
- Knowledge of the FDOT Financial Management applications a plus.
- Knowledge of the FDOT integrated application environment a plus

- Solid working knowledge of Oracle application integration, performance management and data base administration
- Solid working knowledge of MSSQL application integration, performance management and data base administration
- Solid working knowledge of verification testing techniques for infrastructure change management
- Working knowledge of z/OS EXITs

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
