Department Description:
Toyota’s OneTech division is looking for highly motivated and qualified Co-op’s. OneTech works to strengthen IT and business unit alignment with customer-facing departments servicing the Consumer, Dealer, Corporate, Supply Chain & Logistics Solutions, R&D Solutions, Manufacturing Technology areas of the Company. The OneTech Co-op collaborates and partners with IT colleagues, Toyota business units, and stakeholders to contribute to the accomplishment of corporate goals and objectives, innovative solutions to auto industry’s biggest challenges, and the satisfaction of our customers and dealers.
Key Responsibilities:
The OneTech Co-op can look forward to gaining experience in the “Toyota Way” as well as in the following areas (sample listing):
• Software Development
Develop innovative, customer-centric software/hardware solutions utilizing Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
• Business Requirements and Process
Determine business requirements; Develop/re-engineer business processes to ensure efficiencies
• Competitive Strategy
Develop/implement IT business strategies to support Company vision and goals
• Technology and Manufacturing R&D
Contribute toward advanced technology research and development supporting current and emerging IT trends, products, and manufacturing processes
• Architecture, Data Science, and Analytics
Work with current and emerging technologies focused around architecture, data science, analytics, and data management
• Business Operations
Interface with large IT vendors, contract management, IT financial operations, and delivery excellence
• Cybersecurity and Risk Management
Evaluate and manage information risk, confidentiality, and overall security posture to ensure the highest level of enterprise security and brand trust
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited bachelor’s or above degree program in one of the following disciplines or related field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher
• Previous Toyota internship or co-op highly preferred
• Previous IS/IT related work experience is a plus
• Possess strong technical expertise, business sense and communication skills
• Must have lawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
Location:
This position will be located at Toyota’s corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.
