What you will be doing
Our client has an
exciting new opening for a Systems Administrator to support a team that
provides the infrastructure, data protocols, and applications required to move
time-critical data (frequently in near-real-time), encompassing transport
streams, messages, and files across a network infrastructure.
- Provide support for the
implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT)
systems.
- Manage IT system
infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
- Provide support to IT
systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution
for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help
Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and
resolution of problems.
- Provide support for escalating
and communicating status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provide support for
the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the
resolution process.
- Configure and manage
UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot,
maintain integrity, configures network components, and implement operating
systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Five or more years of
experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type, and complexity is required.
- CWIP Certified IAT
Level 1 (A+, Network+, Security+).
- Required Security
Clearance: TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
