We are seeking a part time information System Security Officer(ISSO) who is self-motivated, customer service oriented, and quality conscious cybersecurity professional to join our team.
Support the development, validation, and submission of security documentation, including information system security plans, security test and evaluation plans, certifications, and accreditation or authorization packages, and plans of actions and milestones in support of compliance requirements.
Assist in conducting and coordinating risk assessments of information systems across development, testing, and production environments as .
Aid in the development of training material related to security compliance and audit requirements.
Perform technical tasks for systems such as vulnerability scanning, event log review, security confirmation review, system and software updating, hardening, and incident response.
Work closely with the ISSM, FSO, engineering, and program management teams to ensure up-to-date documentation and customer requirements.
Ensure strict integrity to maintained in all baseline documentation.
Interface with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
Perform ISSO duties as directed by the Corporate ISSM.
Education: Associate degree.
Experience Years: 3-5 years.
Experience Type: Information Technology OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates/Licenses: Obtain secret level security clearance and ability to complete Risk Management Framework (RMF) training.
Experience with NIST 800-53, NISPOM, NIST 800-171 and related regulatory requirements.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization.
Knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.
Certifications: Security+
Hold a secret level security clearance.
Familiarity with or trained in Risk Management Framework related to classified systems.
