QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in network administration and cybersecurity
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and server management
Familiarity with data backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
Experience with surveillance systems and access control technologies.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are preferred.

JOB GOAL: To be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and security of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and protection against cyber threats. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing network switches, servers, firewalls, data backup systems, access points, surveillance cameras, door access systems, and vape sensors.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Network Configuration
1. Configure and manage network switches to ensure efficient data routing and connectivity.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime.
3. Implement and manage Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) to segment network traffic effectively.
Server Maintenance
1. Perform regular maintenance and updates on servers to ensure reliability and security.
2. Monitor server performance and conduct necessary upgrades or replacements.
3. Implement server virtualization technologies to optimize resource usage.
Firewall Maintenance
1. Configure and maintain firewall systems to protect network integrity.
2. Regularly review and update firewall rules and policies to adapt to emerging threats.
3. Conduct security audits to assess firewall effectiveness.
Cybersecurity
1. Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
2. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents.
3. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
Data Backup System
1. Design and manage data backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
2. Regularly test backup systems to confirm data can be restored effectively.
3. Implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of data loss.
Access Points and Wireless Network Management
1 Configure and maintain wireless access points to ensure reliable connectivity across the organization.
2. Monitor wireless network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
3. Implement security measures for the wireless network to prevent unauthorized access.
Surveillance and Access Control Systems
1. Manage and maintain surveillance cameras and door access systems to enhance security.
2. Configure access control settings to ensure only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
3. Regularly review footage and access logs for security compliance.
Vape Sensor Management
1. Implement and maintain vape sensors to monitor and manage vaping activities within the facility.
2. Analyze data from vape sensors to inform policy decisions and ensure a safe environment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 260 Days/8 Hours
Salary range of $55,000-$65,000
