Cyber Warfare Range Engineer
Key Role:
Conducts testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develops exploits, and engineers attack methodologies. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and supervises team members, as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as code or VMware
1+ years of experience with scripting languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Python
1+ years of experience with networking and virtualization
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or STEP
Experience with SimSpace or PCTE
Experience with cybersecurity tools, network configurations, and operational tools
Knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, application behaviors, and network traffic analysis
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Experience operating in an agile development environment
Experience with container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker
Experience in a fast-paced environment and working with flexible customer requirements
Knowledge of penetration testing or red team operations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems
Security+ or IAT Level II certification or higher
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
