**Position Summary**
This position is responsible for the full life-cycle management of assigned PEC applications (SaaS and/or on-premise), including installation, implementation, maintenance, integration, configuration and administration, through end-of-life and transition to replacement solutions.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support and lead the overall health and performance of all assigned applications
- Work directly with vendor and IT Infrastructure team to upgrade and maintain assigned applications
- Responsible for change management, refreshes, upgrade scheduling, and monitoring system jobs and performance
- Work with portfolio team to design, implement, integrate, or and/or enhance new applications and features
- Serve as an expert resource to understand and configure all application functionality as well as support all aspects of technical application management including resolving complex technical issues
- Partner with portfolio team and architects to configure and implement new features and ensure supportability of complete technology solutions; conduct or coordinate needed training for any impacted users or support teams
- Work with IT Infrastructure and cyber security teams to ensure system hardware, operation systems, procedures and security meet application specifications and standards
- Manage scope, planning, and tracking deliverables for operational changes, upgrades, and projects. May also lead or provide hyper-care support and transition for new applications, features or enhancements from delivery to steady-state operational support
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practices for application governance including approval workflows, access policies, offboarding requirements, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Understand application system architecture, all business processes, integrations, and data flows used by or performed by assigned applications
- Create and maintain system design and technical documentation
- Conduct system process reviews, as needed, with portfolio teams and vendors in order to optimize performance and reduce/eliminate risk
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues with applications and integrations
- Perform root cause analysis on all production issues with recommendations for resolution and prevention
- Work with IT Infrastructure team and DBAs to troubleshoot, research and identify database and/or server issues
- Manage the integrity of security design, including participation in the implementation of backup and recovery processes
- Administer application security access and roles to protect data and software
- Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures for assigned applications and participate in the planning of operational procedures for backup and recovery of database
- Assist in determining future growth requirements of applications in areas such as database size, number of end-users and application functionality; works with IT Operations to address application capacity needs
- Proactively monitor all applications and systems for high availability, and satisfactory response time
- Manage technical vendors and escalation to vendor teams as needed to ensure quality and timely support
- Responsible for training and mentoring peers on assigned applications
- Create and maintain technical and operation management documentation and specifications
- Complete support tickets in a timely fashion, based on service level agreements
- Maintain frequent communication with stakeholders, operations, and portfolio team
- Maintain the security of confidential information
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
- Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data, configuration or processing information
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of security authorization design for applications
- Knowledge of various application/system monitoring architecture and development tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as .Net, Python
- Skilled in application implementations in the areas of hosted and on-premise design tech, solution development and implementation
- Skilled in technical infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, network/system operations, hardware capacity and high availability solution
- Skilled in SQL to troubleshoot complex database issues, update data, and debug issues.
- Skilled in principles and processes for providing customer service
- Skilled in system administration and configuration
- Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting software applications and integrations
- Skilled in monitoring and managing application performance
- Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical application and architecture problems

- **Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience)**
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Directly related experience may substitute for education
- Four years experience working in a related computer information system environment with emphasis in business analysis and process improvement, with two years technical implementations
- Prior experience with Enterprise Application Integration AND/OR Security Administration; virtual server software (VMware); Linux; Oracle, SQL PL/SQL or similar scripting; cloud architecture preferred.
- ERP implementation experience preferred
