Overview:
Softtek Government Solutions is hiring a Sr. Management Analyst to support our client, Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). ASPR is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASPR was created under the Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters. The Senior Management Analyst will provide high‐level program and project management support across ODAIA, advancing the organization’s strategic goals and ensuring effective coordination across all program offices. In addition to performing tasks typically handled by a Management Analyst, the Senior Management Analyst will lead efforts related to program oversight, coordination, and process improvements. This role will focus on ensuring that key initiatives are aligned with ODAIA’s strategic objectives and are executed efficiently across all program offices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high‐level program and project management support across ODAIA, advancing the organization’s strategic goals and ensuring effective coordination across all program offices.
- Lead efforts related to program oversight, coordination, and process improvements.
- Responsible for analytical assignments in support of ASPR
- Review and analyze procedures and operating policies to assess their effectiveness, provide evaluations, information and written recommendations
- Research and resolve problems
- Strategic Program and Project Management
- Manage and oversee key initiatives and projects across all programs and divisions within ODAIA, ensuring they are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Provide high‐level oversight and guidance for program and project management activities,
ensuring that they are executed efficiently, within scope, and on time. - Support program offices in developing and refining project plans, timelines, and resource
allocation to meet overall organizational goals.
- Strategic Meeting and Conference Oversight
- Provide strategic direction for the planning and execution of high‐level meetings and conferences across ODAIA.
- Ensure that all meetings and conferences are aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities and support the objectives of the Office of the Director.
- Oversee the development of agendas, logistics information, and post‐event reports, ensuring thorough documentation and follow‐up.
- Program Support and Process Improvement
- Lead efforts to improve processes and workflows across ODAIA program offices, ensuring that best practices are implemented and continuously refined.
- Facilitate the sharing of lessons learned across program offices, encouraging the adoption of improvements in program management and operations.
- Support the office’s strategic planning efforts by providing insights and recommendations based on project and program performance data.
- Documentation and Reporting Oversight
- Oversee the entire documentation process for programs and projects, ensuring that all outputs are consistent with organizational objectives and delivered on time.
- Ensure that all documentation is regularly updated to reflect changes in processes, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Provide final approval for key reports and documents, ensuring alignment with ODAIA’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Knowledge Management and Communication
- Demonstrate expertise in knowledge management practices within systems such as SharePoint and Teams.
- Utilize Microsoft Teams effectively for communication, collaboration, and coordination across projects and tasks, ensuring that information is easily accessible and shared appropriately across the organization.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (Management or Business); 8-10 years of experience
- US Citizenship, ability to obtain Public Trust
