Role Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will meet these minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Subject matter expert knowledge of project and program management best practices (based on the PMBOK).
- Current PMP Certification preferred
- Business process optimization experience with the ability to collect business and technical requirements and develop process workflows to solve problems
- 10+ years of IT project and program management experience
- Includes experience developing project plans that include a project charter, project schedule, project scope statement, project management approach, change management plans, project communication plans, project resource needs, and cost estimates
- 10+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams and staff of all levels
- Experience creating a portfolio revenue forecast and maintaining its integrity throughout
- Extensive experience organizing large or complex projects into a master schedule, along with any sub projects, while optimizing resource utilization across the portfolio
- Ability to mentor and train other PMO members
- Experience leading other project managers on larger engagements as a central point of contact and escalation point
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Exceptional client facing communications and presentation skills
