We are looking for an engaging and versatile Technical Infrastructure Architect, to take a leading role in our Digital Technology team. You will be joining the IT Infrastructure team in a highly critical role where your primary responsibilities will include acting as the technical lead on creating and maintaining IT roadmaps, acting as a trusted advisor for business and leadership, and providing day to day technical support for infrastructure fualts, availability and performance.
In this role, you will be involved in driving the local and global architecture strategy with a goal to deploy standardized, scalable, and secure platforms across our global infrastructure. The role will be part of our global infrastructure team to establish fit for purpose solutions. The role will have a high degree of influence over technology strategies, and you will be expected to navigate the organization across bot IT, OT and QA to ensure common group and alignment. Because of the specialized nature of the role, you will be integral in not only enterprise architecture and project estimation/delivery, but also to the technical delivery of projects and 3rd level support.
As Technical Infrastructure Architect, you will have the opportunity to:

- Be a trusted advisor for business and leadership, up to C-level management.
- Design and build a modern, flexible, and mature service delivery model.
- Champion new technologies, like open source and cloud native activities, and act as our open-source evangelist.
- Provide technical delivery of projects and solutions.
- Provide 3rd level technical support.
- Participate in industry forums to stay-abreast of current trends and promote our way of working and accomplishments.
- Act as a mentor and trusted advisor to the service team. to help mature technical depth within the team.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Technical lead on the creation and maintenance of the IT roadmaps and joint strategies for
- the mission critical infrastructure, based on global alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
- Fill the role as our resident in-house consultant, tasked with improving the collaboration and
- alignment of strategies between IT, OT & QA; covering the entire Purdue model.
- Be a trusted advisor for business and leadership, up to C-level management, inputting into
- the IT strategies at a global level.
- Take local ownership of CyberSecurity capabilities and roadmap across IT; in alignment with
- industry standards such as NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC62443, CIS-20, and ISO27001.
- Take ownership of reducing the technical debt.
- Be a leading role in ensuring the infrastructure in compliance with GxP, and all relevant legal,
- regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Provide day to day technical support for Infrastructure faults, availability, and performance.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent technical cloud and infrastructure skills
- Strong knowledge of backup solutions, DR and data integrity.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Strong solution design and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of IT security methodologies
- Ability to multi‐task and prioritize work assignments with little supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, manage competing demands and handle frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working in a senior Infrastructure support role

The US salary range for this position is $163,000 to $230,000. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
