Overview
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems, databases and applications infrastructure. Reviews and interprets system requirements and business processes. Codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.

Role summary and job responsibilities
- You'll support parts of the software development process; e.g., design, development, and testing under the mentorship of colleagues
- Recommend technical solutions based on partnership with our senior engineers
- Conduct automated testing
- You'll identify technical debt and recommend solutions for remediation
- Work with existing data models and schemas
- Demonstrates strong logic and reasoning capabilities
- Deliver on well-specified work items
- Use questions and proposals to clarify requirements when unclear
Business knowledge
- Builds industry knowledge to support software development activities
- You understand the work of the team
Requirements
- Cognizant of relevant and modern software methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and understands their role as part of software delivery team
- One year of programming experience in Java and or Python
- Actively seeks feedback and mentorship in order to improve technical skills (e.g., through submitting work for code review)
- You demonstrate competence in at least one programming language or technology

Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
