We are seeking a Project Manager to focus on our IT Security initiatives which include security engineering, security operations, and governance, risk, and compliance. This is a matrix Project Management environment: this position has no direct reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain the project work plan, work breakdown structure, and schedule.
- Manage assigned projects consistent with customer objectives and strategic plans.
- Manage the activities of cross-functional project teams and ensures the adherence to the project plan.
- Deploy best practices approach defined by the PMO and the Project Delivery Services team.
- Work to control change, adjust the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodate approved changes.
- Identify, escalate and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Collaborate with Resource Allocation Manager to ensure associates with required skills are available to support the implementation of new system/solutions.
- Produce timely, detailed summaries and high-level reports including project schedule, actual vs. budget, and defined KPIs/metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Directors and Product leadership to align projects with stakeholders’ strategic objectives
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and their budgets with a focus on ROI in a heavily regulated, compliance-driven enterprise environment.
- Experience managing cybersecurity projects is required.
- Experience creating and managing project plans using a PPM tool such as MS Project or Clarity.
- Experience managing projects in a matrix setting with no direct reports.
- Experience managing software or infrastructure implementations, cloud-based solutions or integration projects.
- PMP or knowledge of SDLC or Agile methodology.
- Agile credentials, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
- Experience managing projects using Jira, Confluence, Ziflow, Asana, or other similar tools
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Strong analytical abilities
- Refined presentation skills and experience participating in/presenting at meetings with executive leadership.
- Montefiore requires employees to reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA. We do not pay for relocation or travel expenses.
