Job Summary: |
The Center for Cybersecurity at the University of West Florida is seeking qualified applicants to serve as adjunct faculty to teach fully online (synchronous or asynchronous) courses for the Center’s training and workforce development programs. Adjunct faculty will teach one or more courses from the topics listed below: Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Network Defense Fundamentals, Advanced Network Defense, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence / Hunting, Risk Management, Cloud Security, ICS Security, AI and ML for Cybersecurity, CMMC Compliance, and Security Compliance and Auditing, Also seeking adjunct faculty to teach industry certification prep courses, including but not limited to CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, and Cybersecurity Analyst. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure. |
Position Qualifications: |
Experience teaching online is required of all applicants. Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Sciences, or a closely related field and a minimum of 2 years teaching or professional experience directly related to the course topic.

Preferred qualifications include any of the following: earned Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Sciences, or a closely related field; a minimum of 3 years teaching or professional experience directly related to the course topic; or earned industry certification for associated prep courses. |
