University - Cybersecurity Consultant

That’s why we need you, a Cybersecurity engineer, with the skills to analyze the risks that determine our Cyber resilience.
As a Cybersecurity engineer on our team, you’ll conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develops exploits, and engineers attack methodologies. As you guide your client through understanding acceptable risk and availability, you’ll help develop a strategic Cyber roadmap and use various skills to create solutions. You’ll work with the client to help them operate securely as they navigate an evolving IT environment. Join us as we support our clients and minimize risks with effective solutions.

You Have:
Experience with cybersecurity analysis tools and techniques
Experience with embedded programming languages, including C and C++, and scripting languages, including Python
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including secure coding standards, software development best practices, common threats, and attack patterns
Ability to research and provide recommendations on cybersecurity best practices
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Winter 2024 or Spring/Summer 2025
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of embedded systems concepts
Ability to leverage expertise in technical writing and presentations
Ability to review software source code against secure coding standards
Ability to analyze documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and interface control documents (ICD), for potential security vulnerabilities
Secret clearance
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
