We are seeking a Freelance Network Engineer for a project-based role. This project involves upgrading network switches. Responsibilities
- Verify hardware against the Bill of Material and ensure all components are accurate.
- Coordinate with Solution Architects and Project Managers for seamless LAN refresh execution.
- Conduct unboxing, labeling, and cabling of devices.
- Perform racking, stacking, and IOS upgrades on switches.
- Replace old switches with new ones and apply pre-configured settings.
- Execute patching activities, linking old and new switches, servers, and IDFs to the core network.
- Conduct thorough testing and resolve any implementation issues.
- Document all activities, take detailed photographs, and ensure completion reports.
