Systems Administrator - End User Support Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator - End User Support Manager to oversee and enhance our IT support services. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless end-user experiences by providing technical expertise, managing support teams, and implementing effective systems maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the end user support team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the administration of Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory and Group Policy configurations.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies, including VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Conduct regular system maintenance to enhance IT systems performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures and support processes.
- Provide user training and support to enhance technical skills and knowledge among team members and users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and support across the organization.
- Address complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting assistance when needed.
- Ensure adherence to security compliance measures within the network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Min. 5 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in customer service and technical support roles, preferably in a systems administration capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows-based networks and server management.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and interact with users.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing IT support staff and projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
