Required Technical Skills:
Primary Skills:
- Strong expertise in network engineering, including design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN environments.
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and other enterprise-grade networking equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience with network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
- Proficient in monitoring and analyzing network performance with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
- Solid understanding of network virtualization and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies.
- Familiarity with IP addressing, subnetting, and network troubleshooting techniques.
Secondary Skills:
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud integration.
- Knowledge of network automation using scripting languages like Python or tools like Ansible.
- Understanding of VoIP and QoS configurations for optimized network performance.
