CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Perter Piper Pizza restaurants, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our Peter Piper Pizza concept at the Restaurant Support Center in Phoenix, AZ. This position reports to the Senior Director, Store Solutions.
The IT Manager at Peter Piper Pizza is responsible for overseeing and managing the Peter Piper store and business information technology services and infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional IT support to the organization.

General Summary:
The CEC Information technology portfolio has evolved to include business critical third-party service providers and SaaS solutions. The IT Manager has overall responsibility for delivering in-store and above-store integrations to new and existing applications.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of 3-4 distributed IT support personnel, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and development.
- Infrastructure Support: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure with the support of the CEC Infrastructure team, including servers, networks, workstations, and other hardware and software components. Work in collaboration with peers in the CEC infrastructure and security organizations to define and evolve a secure and reliable store architecture.
- Application Support: Provide technical support and quality assurance for key business applications including NCR Voyix Aloha v19, NBO Labor and Inventory management, Olo for delivery, carry out and catering, and Digital Menu Boards. Formally oversee store systems QA efforts and ensure that all proposed changes are properly tested. Ensure delivery of changes are coordinated with store operations and other areas of IT in accordance with change management policies and processes.
- Telecommunications Support: Manage and maintain the company's 8X8 VOIP telephone system and internet connections.
- Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and disruptions to store and business operations.
- Project Management: Coordinate with the CEC PMO team to implement IT projects, such as system upgrades, network expansions, and new technology implementations. Provide regular updates of project progress and outstanding issues. Participates in the design review board and change advisory board processes.
- Security Management: Assess potential projects, develops road maps, and lead the business case development. Work with the CEC CISO and IT Security team to implement security policies and procedures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or threats.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that services are delivered according to agreed-upon terms.
- Franchise Support: Manage relationships with the Peter Piper Franchise community. Keep the involved in changes on the corporate POS changes, projects and advise them on best practices.
- Budget Management: Work with IT department leaders to develop the annual IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of IT with entertainment and/or restaurant industry work experience.
- Experience managing and programing NCR Voyix Aloha v19, NBO Labor and Inventory, Olo for delivery, carry out and catering, and Digital Menu Boards.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. A demonstrable history of consensus building and influencing others in a cross functional / matrix environment.

- Effectively communicates with clarity and conciseness.
Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle if needed.
