Position Summary
UL Solutions is seeking a
Global Cybersecurity IAM Analyst to join our team in Northbrook, IL. This mid-level contract position is focused on the implementation and management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to safeguard the integrity and security of our organization's digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IAM principles, compliance regulations, and the technical aptitude to work with various IAM technologies.
Key Responsibilities - Identity Solutions Administration:
- Assist in the administration of identity solutions, including IAM applications and tools such as Active Directory, Identity Governance and Administration, and similar technologies.
- Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethical practices, and regulatory guidelines by supporting the enforcement of IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
- Audit Participation:
- Participate in audits and access management process reviews, identifying control deficiencies and recommending improvements where necessary.
- Metrics Development:
- Assist in the development and tracking of IAM metrics, KPIs, and reports to measure progress and effectively communicate performance to management.
- Tool Support:
- Support IAM tools and technologies, recommending enhancements or improvements based on the organization’s needs and priorities.
- Collaboration on Solutions:
- Work closely with the IAM team to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and role-based access control (RBAC) solutions.
- Incident Response Support:
- Assist with incident response efforts related to IAM security incidents and recommend actions to mitigate risks.
Knowledge And Skills - IAM Concepts:
- Solid understanding of IAM methodologies, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, and identity lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Technologies:
- Proficiency with IAM technologies and tools such as Microsoft Azure, Okta, Saviynt, SailPoint, Active Directory, or similar.
- Security Principles:
- Basic understanding of security principles, access controls, and authentication protocols (e.g., MFA, RBAC).
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks, including SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to IAM issues.
- Privileged Access Management (PAM):
- Basic knowledge of PAM tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust is a plus.
- Governance Contribution:
- Ability to contribute to IAM governance processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications - Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IAM, or related fields with demonstrated experience in managing identity and access management solutions.
Work Environment - Onsite Work Only:
- This position requires onsite work in Northbrook, IL, three days a week. Candidates must be able to commute to the office and work collaboratively with the team.
