Role - Senior Cloud Security Architect with strong AWS experience

The Role: As a Senior Cloud Security Architect, you will be at the helm of our cloud security initiatives, leading the design and implementation of secured, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures for cloud-based applications. You will leverage your extensive experience in cyber and cloud security to guide security operations, manage risk, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive the incident response process. You will also be responsible for mentoring your team, conducting comprehensive security assessments, and developing system security plans and policies. Your expertise in enterprise security solutions and security toolsets will be crucial in safeguarding our organization's infrastructure and data.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 7+ years of experience in the IT industry with strong technical knowledge of Cyber Security & Cloud security services.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience leading Security Operations, including risk management, SOC leadership, IT Compliance, and Information Security assessments.
- Proven experience in mentoring and leading a team of Security Engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Expertise in designing and implementing secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures for cloud-based applications.
- Strong understanding of security controls related to regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance.
- Extensive experience with enterprise security solutions like WAF, IPS, DDOS, and SIEM, as well as managing alerts and insights from SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, EDR & AppSec toolsets.
- Hands-on experience with industry-leading security tools such as Splunk ES, Trend Micro, Prisma, Sonarqube, Tenable, and Cloud-native security services.
- Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards & internal policies and performing technical assessments to support compliance efforts (FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI, GxP, SOC2, ISO27001, ISO27002).
- Ability to drive the incident response process, including investigation and reporting of security incidents.
- Must hold a CISSP certification and an architecture certification from a major cloud platform (Google, Amazon, Azure).
