Job Title : 5G Core Network Engineer - Cloud Native & Fault Management Specialist

Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in 5G core network design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of 5G core functions: SMF, UPF, AMF, NRF, NSSF, PCF, UDM, AUSF, MME, SAEGW, SPGW, or ePDG.
- Knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture, microservices, and containerization.
- Experience with CUPS (Control and User Plane Separation) and LTE.
- Familiarity with networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, SRv6, TCP/IP, and ICMP.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience managing fault tickets through to resolution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong communication skills to interact with Customer Care teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration tools.
- Prior experience with load balancing and fault management tools.
- Experience in a Telecom/ISP environment, handling network operations and support.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement 5G core network architecture, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Hands-on experience with core network functions, including SMF / UPF / AMF / NRF / NSSF / PCF / UDM / AUSF / MME, SAEGW, SPGW, or ePDG.
- Work within Cloud Native Architectures involving microservices and containerization for scalable 5G network deployment.
- Expertise in 5G, CUPS (Control and User Plane Separation), and LTE technologies.
- Perform diagnosis at the primary level for alarm-related trouble tickets (TTs) assigned to the L1 core team, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Manage fault tickets through to closure, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Collaborate with L2 teams on escalating non-repetitive or critical service-affecting faults.
- Interface with Customer Care, handling support calls and tickets for troubleshooting.
- Understand and work with standard networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, SRv6, TCP/IP, ICMP, and load-balancing strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
