IT Manager - Bilingual (Japanese)
Contract-to-Hire: 1-year contract, with potential for extension

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite in Ann Arbor, MI)
Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM ET
Language Requirement: Fluent in Japanese (written, spoken, and reading)
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee IT teams at customer sites. This key role is responsible for ensuring efficient IT support, managing project coordination, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate is skilled in IT management, hands-on technical support, and has a strong ability to collaborate across multiple technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site IT teams and ensure smooth delivery of support services.
- Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Coordinate IT projects and foster collaboration between technical groups.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 3+ years of IT management experience, including managing on-site teams.
- Proven troubleshooting expertise and ability to provide hands-on technical support.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams and resolving complex support issues.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and application support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Experience in customer-facing environments and managing client relationships.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) for communication with Japan-based stakeholders.
