Threatrix is seeking a brilliant, highly technical CTO with a get-it-done attitude to help lead our engineering team into the next era of growth. Threatrix is an early-stage startup with very solid product-market fit as both disruptive and new market products. It's a very exciting time to join.
Reporting to the CEO, the CTO will own the product management and development function, including managing engineering resources to meet product roadmap deadlines, product/service positioning and messaging, competitive differentiation, sales enablement, persona and segment strategy, and competitive/market intelligence—all with a sharp focus on consistent delivering go-to-market strategies and execution that drives awareness, preference, purchase, adoption, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the company’s core technology roadmap, technology innovation, global infrastructure, application development, and data ingestion and management.
- Lead the application development and delivery initiatives that includes but is not limited to design, development, and implementation of our application security solution at the enterprise level.
- Make infrastructure strategies and oversee network, application, and data security, management, and governance, ensuring technical excellence, resiliency, and scalability in the platform.
- Ensure adequate development operations for the application development team.
- Continually planning and improving our cloud architecture to improve reliability, quality, performance and scalability.
- Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Providing technical leadership at the enterprise level and oversee overall technology development and utilization plan and manage all information technology teams and resources.
- Assist with the development with a compelling product vision, strategy and roadmap in support of Threatrixs’ goals and objectives.
- Understand customer and market needs, analyze market offerings and competitor capabilities.
- Rapidly iterate and evolve the product to meet the needs of a hyper-growth company, while creating scalable solutions, incorporating innovation and anticipating future customer needs.
- Analyze product lifecycle and development plans for new product introduction, growth, maturity, and decline.
- Implement a data-driven framework for understanding and improving our user experiences.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
- Be accountable for the delivery of the product from the requirement to usage and in-life management.
- Become an evangelist of Threatrixs’ products and participate in press activities, conferences, discussions with thought leaders and market analysts.
Qualifications
- Highly technical engineering pedigree with experience with building complex, distributed systems.
- Deep experience and expertise with Java, Spring Framework and Cassandra/Scyla with the ability to review source code pull requests and guide the development and architecture teams.
- Experience managing remote teams.
- A unique blend of business and technical savvy with a focus on delivering amazing customer experiences.
- Ability to build big-picture vision and the operational drive to make that vision a reality.
- Successfully implement data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap.
- Distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners.
- Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization.
- You lead by example, ready to dive into the weeds on execution—but able to zoom out and navigate high-level strategy.
- Strategic planning and operational execution skills.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Understand the user experience and design.
- Management of a product playbook around multiple acquired products to enable customer migration onto go-forward products.
