Primary Talent Partners has a 3-Month Sr. Global IT Infrastructure Engineer opening with a biotechnology company located in Torrance, CA.
Please note: You will be sitting on a W2 contract with Primary Talent Partners at an hourly basis without PTO/Benefits - We cannot support C2C or 1099
Pay: $35 to $42 per hour
Contract: 3 Month contract W2, potential for extension/conversion to direct-hire
We are currently seeking a Sr. Global IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our expert IT team. This is an onsite position based in Torrance, CA, where you will collaborate with Global IT Infrastructure Network.. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing, and monitoring on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring disaster recovery planning and security compliance, and assisting with escalated incidents, request management, and project implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze regional business requirements and provide IT solutions.
- Deploy, integrate, and manage solutions using standard IT tools and processes.
- Provide level 3 and 4 engineering support for deployed environments.
- Lead major infrastructure migrations.
- Maintain on-premises infrastructure servers and Azure cloud hosting.
- Keep detailed and accurate technical documentation.
- Update Regional Business and IT Teams on infrastructure roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Regional IT Teams to support regional business needs.
- Work independently without direct oversight.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Data Center and Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud, Hyper-V, or VMware Infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Servers & Network support.
- 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Enterprise Stack (Administration, AD, ADFS, Client, GPO, SCCM).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant IT industry experience.
- Preferred Industry Certifications: CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, DELL, etc.
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2019, 2022).
- Functional knowledge of LAN/WAN and tiered application architecture.
- Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
