Job Title: Cybersecurity Support
Location: Oyster Bay, NY (Onsite)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts using various security tools and platforms.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely resolutions and detailed documentation.
- Assist in the implementation and management of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the remediation of identified security weaknesses.
- Provide support for security-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Assist with the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a cybersecurity support or IT role is preferred.
- Experience in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common cybersecurity threats.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
