Information Security Control Risk Manager

- Work Type: Hybrid - onsite 1-2 x/week, 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday
Job Description:Join our team as an Information Security Control Risk Manager! We're seeking a talented cybersecurity professional to oversee and advise on IT risk matters in our US operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security controls and processes.
- Analyze and report on cybersecurity requirements against relevant regulations.
- Identify vulnerabilities and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the bank's security controls are in line with industry standards.
Required Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud technologies.
- 2+ years of experience in security governance, policies, frameworks, standards, and compliance.
- Understanding of security controls, mechanisms, and risk assessment techniques.
- Information security certification (e.g., Security+, CISA, CISM, CISSP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Recent relevant financial industry experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of NYDFS Cybersecurity regulations or NIST CSF
