We are looking for a dedicated professional with hands-on Confluence experience and well-organized technical writing abilities to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role requires technical expertise, soft skills, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on setting up Confluence rather than using SharePoint. The ideal candidate will be familiar with setting up Confluence Intranet sites with easy usability for SDA/SDM all in one site. Our team focuses on Secure Data Services document management processes, collaborating on projects across teams, and building Confluence project sites with tracking and notifications built in.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up Confluence Intranet sites for easy usability for SDA/SDM all in one site.
- Collaborate on projects across Charter teams.
- Enable PMs to track processes with smart agile pages.
- Build Confluence project sites with tracking and notifications built in.
- Target stale data types and manage stale data cleanup processes during NAS migrations.
- Set up and implement Anti Virus Server for EFTG (MFA) platform.
- Implement ICAP Server with inline analysis and replace with new software for Inbound and Outbound with ICAP client support.
- Stand up test POC environment for Komprise unstructured data migration solution (Nice to have).
- Familiarity with Whitelisting in zero data exposure zone (Nice to have).
SDM Responsibilities
- Strong foundation in both Linux and Windows server OS administration.
- In-depth understanding of file transfer protocols such as SFTP, HTTPS, FTPS, and AS2.
- Platform integration, data processing, and automation leveraging data transfer protocols, other tools, and API-based calls.
- Experience managing hosted file transfer services and Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms such as Cleo, GoAnywhere, Ipswich, Moveit, and Axway.
- Experience with file transfer clients, FileZilla, WinSCP, and Linux command line and PowerShell.
- Understanding of file share protocols SMB/CIFS and NFS.
- Understanding of S3 and Cloud technologies.
- General file server and/or NAS administration.
- Knowledge of Internet Protocol (IP), ports, and network concepts including Firewalls, routing, and switching.
- Load balancers and load balancing concepts.
- Understanding of SSL/TLS and SSH certificates, public/private key pairs, and certificate authorities.
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS and SSH security ciphers.
- Experience with Bash Shell, PowerShell, and Java scripting (other scripting/coding languages are a plus).
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies.
- Understanding of authentication services such as Active Directory, and protocols such as LDAP and SAML.
- Bonus Skill: Basic Oracle and/or SQL database administration.

Possible Day-to-Day Activities
- Support file transfer platform application patching, upgrades, and maintenance on Linux and Windows servers.
- Administration and governance of file transfer accounts, account security, and account details.
- Work as Tier 1, Tier 2, and 3 supporting the creation of data movement solutions, application integration, and data security.
- Troubleshoot client connection issues, file transfer failures, and data movement issues.
- Support continuous platform security hardening and standardization efforts for file transfer/data movement platform along with secured data storage.
- Collaborate with internal application teams and external vendor/trading partners to ensure adherence to secure design standards.
- Support the creation of automation integration projects, automate alert reporting to critical issues, and gain visibility into data and opportunities for analysis.
- Design and implement standards, procedures, and automation processes to increase efficiencies and platform reliability.
SDA Responsibilities
- Define security standards and participate with engineering and other SMEs on best practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across all levels of leadership.
- Leverage broad knowledge base and subject matter expertise to provide guidance.
- Expert level understanding of Active Directory, File and Folder ACLs, Share Permissions, and NTFS permissions.
- Varonis experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to design IT Architecture and advanced knowledge of automation.
- Identify vulnerability, non-compliance, and recommend mitigations.
- Manage an MFT platform and have an in-depth understanding of enterprise-class infrastructure, maintain automation tools, and develop automation processes and standards.
- Develop solutions to automate repetitive tasks in a scripting or programming language (Python preferred, Perl, Bash, Shell, or equivalent).
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements to existing systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering and others to ensure alignment with the overall intended design.
- Create architectural artifacts and provide oversight for Secure Data Access/Secure Data Movement.
- Provide specific recommendations and approval for architectural direction.
- Determine the root cause and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems.
- Create policies, standards, and procedures for operations.
- Must be a team player and be able to work within all levels of a project team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends to respond to production incidents. Be available for off-hour scheduled maintenance/migrations and available for escalation points.
