Key responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of identity and access management solutions
- Support the maintenance and administration of Active Directory and Azure AD environments
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of identity governance processes and policies
- Participate in the integration of identity management systems with other security platforms
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving identity-related issues and access requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure identity-related security standards are met
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of identity and access management systems
- Stay updated on the latest security protocols and best practices in identity management
- Provide technical support and guidance on access control mechanisms and privilege management
- Assist in the documentation of identity management processes, procedures, and configurations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts and principles
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD administration
- Familiarity with identity governance tools and platforms
- Knowledge of security protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good understanding of IT security and risk management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant internships or entry-level experience in cybersecurity or identity management
- Certifications in related fields like CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft 365 Identity and Services are a plus
