We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contract-to-Hire Engineer to be our first technical hire, with the potential to step into a CTO role. You'll be joining us at an exciting stage as we build an AI-driven EdTech platform designed to revolutionize international student yield and retention for universities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of our EdTech product from 0 to 1, overseeing all aspects of the technical architecture and engineering decisions.
- Design, build, and scale a conversational AI system with a focus on Generative AI and other cutting-edge AI/ML technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product goals with technical solutions.
- Define and execute a roadmap for building, testing, and iterating on our product to meet both educational and user needs.
- Ensure the technical infrastructure is secure, scalable, and optimized for high-performance and user engagement.
- Eventually grow and lead a technical team as the product and company scale.
Requirements:- Proven experience building and launching products from the ground up, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in Conversational AI and Generative AI (LLMs, NLP, GPT, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools commonly used in the space (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.
- Passion for EdTech and leveraging AI to transform the education space.
