Aviators Wing House and Craft Cocktails is seeking a motivated and experienced Working Kitchen/BOH Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, overseeing the entire kitchen process while ensuring top-notch food quality and safety. You will lead our culinary team, manage inventory, and maintain a smooth workflow in our vibrant, aviation-themed wing house. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage BOH staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, and stock management
- Coordinate with servers to ensure timely food service
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies in a calm and efficient manner
Requirements
- Proven experience as a kitchen manager, BOH manager, or similar role in a restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, late hours, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Follow Ownership directives in an exact manner
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
