What we are looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for our MSP services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
The successful candidate believes in our mission to help small and mid-sized businesses gain a competitive advantage by harnessing the power of technology to reach their business goals. They are an advocate for our approach to achieving this mission and embrace the vision of becoming North America’s leading MSP.
CompassMSP has ambitious market share growth aspirations. We are looking for someone with a similar drive and ambition who is committed to helping us exceed our targets. Candidates must have a proven track record of winning new accounts and maximizing our product offerings by effectively selling premium services.
Key Requirements for the Position:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the technology or MSP industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve exceptional results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and business expansion.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data and metrics, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and value to clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles.

A successful Sales Leader will be able to:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth for our MSP services
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them succeed and grow
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting and engaging with potential clients to generate leads and expand our customer base
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management to inform decision-making and strategy development
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technical support, to ensure alignment and collaboration in delivering integrated solutions to clients
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and tactics
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency
