Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the performance and security of computer systems and networks
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network components
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions
- Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
- Expertise in managing Linux and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Good understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
