We are looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team! As part of the Technology Services department, you will play a key role in supporting the enterprise compute, storage, and desktop environment for a major airport authority, including systems like Office 365, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, SAN/NAS, Backup, and more.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support technology projects to meet departmental goals.
- Manage and support system architecture solutions.
- Provide 24x7x365 support for enterprise hardware and software.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide reports and metrics for performance analysis and future planning.
- Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Offer technical and operational guidance to team members and contractors.
- Work onsite Monday through Friday.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience managing the following technologies:
- Microsoft Server Platforms (Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows SQL Server)
- Microsoft Software Services (Windows Desktop OS, Microsoft 365, Defender)
- Microsoft Management Services (Active Directory, Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune)
- Microsoft Azure (Azure AD, Azure CLI, Azure Governance)
- Dell Servers, SAN/NAS storage (PowerEdge, Compellent, vxRail)
- VMware Virtualization (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere)
3+ years of experience managing:
- Pure Storage arrays (FlashArray, ActiveCluster)
- Backup and recovery services, File and Print Services, Data Center installation (Rack & Stack)
2+ years of experience designing solutions integrating server, storage, backup, and security (virtual/physical).
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- VMware vSAN, VEEAM Enterprise Backup, Wasabi Cloud
- PowerShell, Azure Co-Pilot AI
- Disaster Recovery Services (testing, planning, and documentation)
- Relevant Certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Design Expert, Pure Storage Certified, etc.)
