Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Project Superintendent to oversee renovation projects in occupied buildings.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing similar projects and will be responsible for ensuring that all renovations are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
This role requires extensive travel throughout the Northeast Coast and presence on-site most of the working week.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Management: Supervise renovation activities on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to building occupants and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for building occupants and internal teams.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality standards
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily logs, change orders, and financial reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in renovations of occupied buildings.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Northeast Coast and be on-site most of the working week.
- Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
